Awarded by INERIS, this recognised label guarantees the quality of the services provided in lightning protection and prevention. Certified organisations are identified as competent in this domain and can therefore meet the regulatory requirements of the amended decree of 4 october 2010 modified. Created in 2004, the QUALIFOUDRE label can be awarded to manufacturers, installers, design offices and verifiers. After an initial audit at the candidate’s premises, INERIS awards ( or does not award ) this label for a period of 3 years (renewable). This initial audit is supplemented by an annual audit.

To comply with the regulatory requirements, the certified organism’s staff must also be authorised by their employer. These authorisations are issued on a case-by-case basis and are subject to initial and in depth training adapted to the tasks entrusted  (Lightning Risk Analysis, Lightning Technical Study Installation, Verification, Training). This is where France Paratonnerres comes in, offering training at all level (1, 2 and 3).
