FPIC® isOlated system

The FPIC® isolated conductor is used to connect a lightning conductor to an earthing point, reducing the required separation distance by 95 cm.

According to current standards (NF C 17-102:2011 and NF EN 62305-3), to be considered an isolated system, a lightning protection system must be installed in such a way that no current can circulate on the structure to be protected. The used of FPIC® Isolated system with an equivalent separation distance (s = 95 cm) meets the requirements for isolated installations.

For these isolated installations, a single down conductor can be used to connect an  Early Streamer Emission air terminal ( E.S.E) .

The FPIC® isolated conductor offers one of the largest separation distances on the market (s = 95 cm), in full compliance with IEC TS 62561-1. The FPIC® range includes all the accessories required for a complete, reliable insulated installation that complies with current standards.
